The Good News is that in most states, if one is hit by a vehicle, the driver,
regardless of the attire of the pedestrian, runner, bicyclists, or horserider
will be found guilty... and if death results, "manslaughter"
perhaps requiring time in the slammer.
And Now... The Bad News
The person struck will either be killed or suffer from blunt trauma injuries...
probably chronically and permanently.
